Linen is made from the flax plant and is one of the oldest known fibres.  It has a number of quality attributes: it is strong, soft to touch; absorbs moisture; dries quickly; cool to wear and allows our skin to breathe.  Linen production requires one of the lowest amounts of energy to produce vs any other fabric fibre.  It is also a sustainable resource and biodegradable.
