STORY OF SILK - Coming Soon.

 Preview

Silk is one of the oldest natural fibres and originates from China.  It is well known for its luxurious softness and lustrous beauty. Silk also has a number of other quality attributes: it is the most hypoallergenic of all fabrics; it is warm and cozy in winter and comfortably cool when temperatures rise.  It is also highly absorbent and dries quickly.  Silk is naturally biodegradable however its current production process are seen to be unethical due to the silk moth being killed in the production process.  There are also emerging production processes which claim to do no harm to the silk worm, known as Peace Silk, however given that there are no regulations currently in place for certification it is difficult to validate their authenticity.
